Job Description:

  • Support day-to-day operations of the CIC team by completing projects, providing workflow guidance, technician training, and operational support
  • Serve as a resource for technicians and assist leadership with workload coordination
  • Support Facility Formulary Therapeutic Interchange and Third-Party Therapeutic Interchange responsibilities, including reporting, audit support, quality assurance checks, and ongoing monitoring
  • Support OmniDX to OASIS FFTI and TPTI conversion efforts, including pulling forms from Omniview, activating FFTI and TPTI, and tracking conversion activities
  • Review pharmacy stock and coordinate with pharmacy purchasing to address stocking needs or gaps
  • Partner with IT teams on reporting needs, system and reporting troubleshooting, and resolution follow-up
  • Use OASIS, OmniDX, MicroStrategy, Salesforce, Omniview, and other Omnicare systems for reporting, research, workflow support, and operational follow-up
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to technicians
  • Train and support technicians by reinforcing standard operating procedures, best practices, and process expectations
  • Participate in team meetings, process improvement initiatives, and special projects
  • Support other CIC areas as needed, including customer service, faxing, order processing, prior authorizations, and medication therapy management support

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of relevant pharmacy technician experience
  • Active pharmacy technician license or registration in good standing in the state where the candidate resides
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applicable workflows, systems, policies, and procedures
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to mentor, train, and support team members while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
  • Proficiency with computer systems and standard office applications
  • Microsoft Excel experience, including the ability to organize, review, and analyze data to support reporting and tracking
  • Ability to identify issues, research information, and recommend practical solutions
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to work the assigned schedule and remain available during standard operating hours
  • Ability to maintain a suitable remote work environment supporting confidentiality, productivity, and business requirements
